Who’s your biggest critic and supporter? I think my greatest critic is myself. It has to be that way. If you’re easy on youself, you’re letting be less than you could be- you can’t let yourself get away with it.
What was your first piece and/or idea that made you keep creating? I started making jewellery for my bursary design portfolio and never really stopped.
What lead you to where you are today? Sheer bloody-mindedness and no fear of hard graft.
Describe your workspace and surroundings and what your creative process is. Meticulous, ordered and well planned… with a good measure of chaos thrown in to balance it all out.
What advice would you give other artists/illustrators starting out? It’s going to take a shed load of hootpsa, but the rewards will be many. It’s worth the effort.
